In Laser Energetic Detoxification (LED), developed by Lee Cowden, MD, one of the most respected names in bioenergetic medicine, laser light passes through a homeopathic vial and shines on the client so that the body can release and/or resolve harmful substances. The substances to be swept are determined by testing from the Asyra, a highly developed, FDA-registered version of the EAV machine. Toxins, allergens, autoimmunity and even infections may be resolved.

A treatment takes 3-5 minutes.

According to Dr. Cowden, LED is a safe and highly effective rapid detoxification therapy that helps to alter the way that toxins affect the body, so that some people improve in 24 hours rather than in weeks to months.
In the 1950’s Dr R. Voll discovered that acupuncture points along the body’s meridian system, traditionally used by acupuncturists for treatments, could also be used to assess an individual’s state of health.

Through many thousands of screenings he found that particular points were associated with particular organs and health conditions. The Asyra System is a highly developed updated version of Dr. Voll’s original instrument which monitors the body’s energetic response to various substances and tests through a process called biofeedback.

Using the Asyra, the patient is tested against various toxins that show up in the body. Key findings indicate whether the rapid laser detoxification process would likely be helpful for a client.

Many patients improve their health over a short period of time.

The exact reasons for t his are as yet unknown, but are thought to be related to immediate effects of the therapy on the physics of body function, through the medim of light, rather than on chemical reactions.
Evaluation: The Asyra initially looks for sulfa drugs, autoimmunity, other toxins, allergies, geopathic stress, electromagnetic fields, toxic foci, focal organ toxicity, structural misaligments and nutritional adequacy. A program is put together and tested for frequency and intervals between treatments.

Treatments: usually take three to five minutes. The laser light is shined through the appropriate homeopathic vials in the predetermined sequence.Re-exposure to a substance in a concentrated form might require repeating a LED for that substance. For some individuals, approximately 10-15% of the LED groups need more than one treatment.

Dr. Cowden has found that a toxin or group of toxins releases more easily, more gently, and more thoroughly if an LED is done for a group of energetically-associated flower essences and/or colors just before the LED for the toxin group. Sometimes food allergies resolve better if the LED for the associated flowers and/or colors immediately precedes the LED for the allergen.

Dr. Cowden has found that lymph treatment prior to LED treatment offers better results. Lymph therapy may include one or more of the following: rebounding, dry skin brushing, manual lymphatic drainage, ki therapy position for lymph, or Chi Machine.

• A 60 year old woman with Parkinson’s tremor experienced a 50% improvement after one mercury LED treatment. After her second LED (for DDT) only 10% of her tremor was left, and the tremor remained minimal after that.

• A 3 ½ year old autistic boy was not toilet trained, could not speak words, feed himself or play. At the end of the second LED for mercury, he pointed to a toy dog in the room and said, “Doggie.” He had LED’s for many toxins and vaccines. By the age of 5, he was outperforming his classmates in a regular school and was essentially normal.

• A 49-year old woman with a ten year history of drug-resistant insomnia did one LED for “auto-immunity” to her own serotonin and GABA, presumably caused by two pesticides (Dursban and Heptachlor). That night, she slept ten hours without interruption and without drugs.

Drawing from a clinical pool of 1,800 patients, E.Alan Jeppsen, M.D., and Steven G. Osguthorpe, N.D., conducted a double-blind study of over 600 randomly assigned patients, of which 100 were used as control subjects. This study, Effectiveness of the Asyra in Assessing Sub-Physiologic Thyroid Levels in Women 35 to 65 Years of Age, yielded a 97% correlation with blood chemistry.
